Coogee Minnows : November 5th 2007
Dear All,
Well what a day on Sunday - rain and dreary at 8.00am - sunshine and blue sky at 8.45am and a fabulous time was had by all for the next 2 hrs.
From the response on the beach the PB day was very successful, with heaps of kids putting in some great times for all the events and the skills sessions worked wonders.
Well done to the team for the Under 11's for the set up and pack down.

Carnival Overview:
The Randwick Shield Carnival day is a fun day out for all those who wish to compete from the 8's-14's with our fellow district clubs - it's not full on, but it is a competition day, and the races will have a good competition edge to them - so come ready to put your best effort in.
The water races will also be run to SLSA distances for the swim and board, which are longer than we have been doing so far this season.
On the day kids will be asked to choose water or sand as some events are run consecutively. Your Age Mgr will be there, but not in his normal capacity - he'll be helping run the day overall, so its up to the parents to ensure their child is at their event.
At each race location we will be roping off the areas, especially the 8's, and these will be for marshalling kids in - no parents in the marshall area.
For all those with Grey shirts and who want to help on the day in the roped of areas, please wear you grey shirt so we know who you are.
For all competitors please Marshall at the Coogee Tent at the latest @ 8.20am
Any questions re the Shield please e:mail us
