Dear Minnows Team,
What a great day on Sunday with lots of sun and a solid surf running
First thing this week and congratulations to our 2 new Junior Captains. This year Stephanie Thornton and Elliott Doughty will be representing the Minnows as our Junior Captains for the upcoming season.
Extra Parents Training Session: Monday 30-10-06 6:30pm - 8:30pm @ Coogee Surf Club
We have had requests from other parents to hold another session, and this will now be happening tonight - If you have not yet registered or attended the course, now please roll up tonight
For those doing their proficiency for Bronze Medal we will now be having training sessions at Nippers on completion of the kids events. This will be for approx 30 mins from around 11:00am onwards.
Well done to the 16 parents who have put up their hand to be in the Minnows Parents Surf Boat Crew: We are having our first session this Saturday morning at the Cooks river so if you want to join us please advise
I have also placed on the Website the Dolphin Surf Camp registration form - Please note rego form and cheque go direct to Dolphin. This will be a great 2 days so get in early:
Board training at the beach this Friday from 4:30 pm - Parents must be with their child or ensure their children are under the care of another parent on the beach
Our District Carnival ( Coogee, Clovelly, Maroubra and Sth Maroubra is only a few weeks away on Nov 19th with Clovelly are hosting at Coogee. We will be assisting the Clovelly team to set up the beach and running the BBQ. Next week there will be a meeting after Nippers for the Shield team to discuss training times
Boat Crew Details for Sat 4th Nov 2006:
The address is Mutch Av, Kyeemagh. If you have a look at whereis.com this will get you there, but basic directions are;
General Holmes Dr, towards Brighton, go under the bridge at the airport and turn right at the first set of traffic lights into
Bestic Street, then it is your third right into Mutch Av, follow this all the way to the boat ramp.
Ian Quirk will be there at 9am with the boat, ready to go
