This Week - November 16th 2006

Dear Minnows Team,

What a great day last Sunday!! With lots happening on the beach and the sun stayed out.

Well done to all the kids who participated in Teams Day last week - and to the Under 8's, those wades are just going to get bigger and a lot more fun.

The Under 7's also had some board time in the pool with the assistance of our cadets - and had a great time

And what about all these Mums and Dads who passed their Bronze Proficiency, what a great effort and thanks for your commitment

Don't forget this Sunday there are no 6's and 7's at the beach - You are invited to join Clovelly 6's and 7's at Cloey for this weekend:

This Sunday 19th November Randwick Shield for Under 8's - 14's

This Carnival is a fun day out with some friendly competition between the Nipper clubs in the Randwick precinct.

It will be just like a normal Nippers day with a few more people on the beach.

We would encourage as many kids to come down on the day and participate. Due to the numbers on the beach the kids are requested to choose their best style of event ... either sand or water, so the carnival can then finish around lunchtime;

For the Coogee Officials team please wear white tops without Coogee branding - Sydney Airport shirts are fine.

As it is Clovelly hostng at Coogee, the Cloey team will be doing most of the set up with some guidance from us.

From a Coogee perspective we need some Coogee people down their to guide the Cloey team in how we set our areas
For this we need approx 8 people on the day at 6:15am please:

Each Area will be set up using Coogee Blue and Yellow flags - crowd barriers and witches hats.

For Sunday the Schedule will be the following:

6:15am team arrives to set up beach - Under 8's area - run track, flags etc

6.45am Commence set up of the Water areas with cans laid first with the IRB's

7:15am BBQ Team on deck from Cloey
