Dear Minnows Team,
Well what a great day to start the season
Clear skies - fantastic water conditions, just a touch cold but getting warmer and a whole bunch of very keen Minnows
Our first day back was all in the water with boards, rescues, swims and tube rescues the order of the day.. and what a day it was - well done to all
Dolphin Camp 18th-19th Jan 2007:
Well done to all those who have registered for the camp - Details below
To make this a great two days for the kids we need as many dads and mums as possible especially Bronze and BBQ team
Warren Williams will be co-ordinating the Bronze team and MJ the BBQ
Schedule:
We will start doing registrations at 8am on Thursday at the Surf Clubhouse at the southern end of the beach. This takes about 30 mins so please be on time.
This will occur while Water Safety sets up the cans on the day
We break for morning tea at 10.30-11am and lunch is from 1-2pm. We will be back at the club from 2-3pm then after the Dolphin skills section finishes, we will move onto lifesaving education after that.
We will start at the same time on Friday being 8.00am.
We will have the Dolphin Team Challange at 12 noon on Friday, and lunch from 1-1.30 followed by the presentation of prizes/ boards from 1.30-2.30. The kids will have the opportunity to get t-shirts/boards signed by Kristy, Simon and Paul after that
For those on the reserve list we will advise tomorrow
Sunday the 21st:
This Sunday we will have the Bush Nippers with us and we will be doing much the same as this week, with some added attractions on the day with some special events in the water with our Bush Nipper contingent: see www.bushnippers.com.au
Bronze Course Jan 2007:
Course starts Tuesday 16th January at 7:00pm at the Club house. As usual course will run on Tue/Thurs nights at the Club house from 7:00pm and Sat at 9:00am and Sun at 11:00am at the boat shed.
Both Mark Trevaski and Will Bao will be leading this course and as always it's great fun and lots of laugh!
