This Week - 3rd March 2006

Dear Minnows Team,

Well here we are two weeks away from end of season, and everything seems to go much faster in our second half.

It's been a big one at Coogee this year, and everyone has put in a huge effort, and thanks to all

The kids have shown remarkable effort this year, and its always an inspiration to see them on the sand and in the water every Sunday giving their all

Due to last weeks arrival of the blueys we have decided the following:

This Sunday 5th March - Teams Day at Coogee Minnows - and our State Team of 16 kids will be at Cronulla

Sunday 12th March - Pick up the Handicap Day just lost and the Iron Man Events that went with it

Under 6's and 7's Presentation at the Beach - Under 6's will come down, do approx 15 - 20mins of activities then to Presentation Area for trophies for all

Under 7's will do approx 35 mins of activities then to Presentation Area for trophies for all

Please note this is the last day on the beach for this season for all Minnows

Coogee Minnows AGM - 12 Noon at Coogee Randwick RSL Carr St Coogee

This is our Annual General Meeting and I would encourage as many parents to join us for this meeting:

This meeting is where next years committee and office bearers are voted on. This is the team that leads Coogee Minnows and formulates policies .
I would encourage as many people to attend the AGM, as your input into who does what is vitally important for the long term future of the Club.

If your child is a registered Minnow then you can vote at the AGM

The AGM is run by a representative for the Senior Club

Presentation Day for Under 8's- Under 14's 1.00pm till approx 3.30pm at Coogee Randwick RSL Carr St Coogee

This Event is obviously a highlight for the year, and one that is enjoyed by all.

All trophies, prizes and gifts are given out on this day and the new Committee is presented to the Club

I look forward to the final run to the finish post for this year, and Coogee Minnows wishes our 2005-2006 State Team the best of luck and good wishes as they compete in the 2Blue Caps for Coogee Minnows against the best the State has to offer
