Coogee Minnows : Sept 17th 2007
After our first two major registration days we now have over 460 Coogee Minnows registered for this season - what a great start.
We would like to welcome back all those from last season, and give a very warm welcome to those who have joined us for the first time - we hope you enjoy your time at Coogee Minnows
Our first day back on the beach is Oct 14th 2007 @08:45 am
Registrations will be held at the beach from Oct 14th 2007 for a few weeks until we reach our defined numbers. This will commence at 08:30am - for further information on rego costs, age groups and swim times, please see Calendar and Regsitration Section on the web site.
New Boards this season
Our new 9 new boards have arrived from INFront Surfboards, and as you can see by the pictures below they look great . Thanks to the INfront team and Michael Vitnell for their support and assistance

Important Dates for 2007-2008:
Information Day:
For first time Parents, whose children attend Coogee Minnows, this session will be held at the Coogee Surf Club at 9.30am -10.30am on Sept 23rd 2007.
This session is highly recommended if you want to know what goes on, who does it, how they do it, and when they do it, and even how they feel when they are doing it...for parents of all age groups.
Parents Training Days:
This course is compulsory for all parents who want to assist on the beach - only need to attend on 1 day
Training Day 1 October 20th 1.30- 4:30pm

Parents Dinner: The Coogee Minnows Parents Dinner is on Friday Night Nov 23rd at the Coogee Surf Club:
Parents Bronze Course:
This will be commencing in mid October based the success of the Fast track Parents Bronze Course from last season
New Beach Program for 2007-2008:
This year we will be implementing a new program for the beach for the Under 9's - Under 13's
This will include extra Teams Days, Life Saving Days and PB (Personal Best) Days and Iron Person events on the Teams Days - this new program will add a whole new level of fun and participation and skills on the beach on a Sunday morning.
