Coogee Minnows : October 4th 2007

Greetings to all our Minnows and Parents and welcome to the new season

As a quick update our first day on the beach is Sunday Oct 14th 2007 commencing at 8.45am

On this day we will be registering new people, doing proficiencies for all age groups, doing Run Swim Runs for some ages, and getting into the water and getting our new boards wet

Our first day back is always a bit hectic, so for all those assistants from last year if you can join us at 8.15am to assist in the set up that would be great.

Don't forget, our first two Age Mgrs and Assistants training days are the 20th and 27th of October and we will be having another one after these days These are on from 1.30pm -4.30pm and are being held at the Coogee Bay Hotel. The entrance is the conference centre from Arden st. (next to bottleshop)

New Beach Program for 2007-2008:
This year we will be implementing a new program for the beach for the Under 9's - Under 13's

This will include extra Teams Days, Life Saving Days and PB (Personal Best) Days and Iron Person events on the Teams Days - this new program will add a whole new level of fun and participation and skills on the beach on a Sunday morning.

As we now have a new Major Sponsor in Ray White Randwick/Sth Coogee, please ensure only new gear is worn to the beach. We will have new T-Shirts for the Assistants at the training sessions so for first day back its generic gear.

We are also recycling all the old T-Shirts to go to kids who need clothes overseas, so please bring them in with you and we will package up and forward on
